Wink How long does it take to...

Replace the o-rings in the EAS valve block on a P38?
    EAS Valve Block
The pipe at the front of the block in my car leaks (Is this the one that goes to the air tank?) and it seems like it's not a big issue to replace all the o-rings. About how long should it take to do such a thing and where would I get the o-rings. It appears Ron has done all the hard work with the sizing, but the chances of getting the right sizes o-rings at bunnings is pretty slim.

Any info would be appreciated. Cheers

$80 will see you obtaining a Gj kit of Orings or you can order them direct from almost any hydraulic or pnumatics place.

I havent replumbed one yet but at a WAG 2 hours should be plenty.

Yep, 2 - 3 hours is about all it takes.

While you've got it in pieces its a good idea to do the teflon seal in the compressor piston head as well.

Also a manual type controller will help you de pressurise the system and also allow you to test it all works before hooking back up to the ecu.

Happy to give you a hand if you need it.

And I have the manual controller to let you test it all out prior to plugging the expensive ECU back into it and seeing where you let the smoke out..
