P38 soft bull bar attaching spotlights

Has anyone attached spotlights to their soft factory bullbar?
Is there a bracket you can get or did you drill through the bar?
    Cheers

Yep, I had some IPF Xtreme Sports put on the lower bar. The blokes at Monaro Off Road in Queabeyan used two standard stainless steel brackets to wrap around the rubber but had to cut a nick out at the back for the bolts to fit through. The brackets are C shaped to allow for the lights and bolts to sit just behind the bar.
    Cheers, Paul.

    Remy,
There is a factory bar but others on the site say it is too lightly built.

It goes across behind the brush bar from chassis rail to chassis rail.

Easy to build once you have seen one.

Pic is attached hopefully, and in the UK there is a part number you can order. Search this site as a fellow P38 owner provided the part number a few months ago.

    Cheers

    Jeff

    Remy,
Here you go, proper part number courtesy of good buddy "Scouse"

    Let's say 'acquired' .

    You need a STC8883AA.
Once you see one, it would be easy to copy. The original is fairly weak though. I'm going to make up some upper supports for my lights."

    And I still haven't done that .

Going HID now so hopefully the spotlights will be redundant .

Just did it to mine, used right angle steel along the top of the bar and mounted light upside down. Will get pics up ASAP.
