Well...... since we were talking about those front recovery points, do they just bolt on ?
If so, and you're willing to let them go, I would be interested.
Cheers

Folks - now it's official that my 1995 P38A is being written off, I have recovered a few bits that were not listed on the insurance papers.
I had the rear bar and tyre carrier installed on 22-Oct and it works great. It was manufactured by 4x4 Intelligence in Melbourne - there are a couple of threads on here discussing these bars... mine is one of the later ones in the batch which seemed to have resolved the problems of the earlier bars.
It cost me a touch under $2500, including delivery to Canberra. I'm willing to let it go to a forum member for $1500 but you'll have to pick it up or arrange a courier. It is heavy though - at least 50Kg would be my guess.
The bar is currently located at Canberra Motor Works in Mitchell, ACT. If it doesn't sell in the next few days I will bring it home to Queanbeyan, NSW and put it up on eBay.
I'll probably have a few other bits up for grabs soon too.
PM me if you are interested in the bar or any other parts you may need. If I can help out I will.
cheers
Paul.

Yes, please do.
I'm guessing I'll have to go the custom fabrication route to get what I want.
Thanks

Do you have any pics of it, thinking of putting one on my other halfs 98 rr, As i am thinking of putting gas in it, so a spare might be handy. I will first have to fix its rear end problem though, I have an EAS error in the back end (lol). I am in Canberra every day for work so pick up wouldnt be a prob. Might have to wait till Jan though. Will keep this in mind though.
Cheers
Craig
Hi Craig - do you take your Rangie(s) to Ray at Canberra Motor Works in Mitchell by any chance? I asked him if he knew anyone who was after a rear bar and he mentioned that a bloke who was looking to change his RR over to gas might be looking for one... BTW: he's the only bloke in Canberra I know who has the right computer gear to diagnose and fix P38A problems (besides Rolfe Motors, who screwed mine up totally a few years ago).
The bar is still at Canberra Motor Works if you want to inspect it - I'm sure Ray wouldn't mind as long as you call him first. I probably won't get over there until early next week to move it out of his way.
Attached is a pic of the bar (the board is not letting me upload the others at the moment as they already exist in other posts - I can email them to you though). It looks good, worked well and seems strong as. I'll even throw in the (dirty) wheel cover and 16mm wheel nuts for the carrier. In case you don't already know, P38A's have 14mm wheel studs and nuts but the bar came with 16mm studs, hence the 16mm nuts I had to get for a RRC (or D1, or Defender).
The tail lights built in to the bar are LED units (i.e. no reflectors). I attached the vertical reflector strips upon the advice of the installer who said I might get pulled over by the Police if I didn't have them.
I also had the second (LHS) axle installed should I want to add another wheel carrier or fuel/water carrier in the future. The number plate holder is removable too. Personally I didn't like the number plate above the wheel carrier and was planning to hand back the Euro plates for smaller ones that would fit near the original spot or on the bar itself.
If you genuinely want it, I'm sure we can come to an arrangement regarding timeframes for payment and pickup. I'll PM you my email and mobile number.
cheers
Paul.
