Ok, maybe an hour or so but you P38 owners can afford it.

Clearing the EAS fault will be of no use at all.
You may as well get some electrical tape and cover over the fault light.
What you really need to do is start figuring out why the light is there in the first place.
Sounds like an overhaul of the EAS might be on the cards.
Doesn't have to cost the earth if you are handy with a screw driver.
Plenty of good doco around as well for diagnosing problems.

I recently found out, that a dead battery can also trigger eas fault codes.
You can also try Sam from Rangeland Automotive, he's a sydney based mobile Landrover mechanic, and he can reset the codes in your driveway. 0410664194.

RIP Bucko - Riding on Forever
The car battery was dead for a while (months). Then i charged the battery whilst in the car and connected aswell, which may have caused a spike. My mechanic friend who reset the codes, said he had seen it before.
