Now that looks sexy. Sorry but before with the orange it just looked wrong, bit like mutton dressed as lamb as the saying goes.

Actually I don't mind the sport air vents either but do they flush fit as they appear on the sport or do they sit proud of the panel work. The sport looks like the cut out is depressed so the grills sit flush but I haven't seen one close enough to be sure. Would get in the way of snorkel fitment if ever a good one comes out but it looks like your car wouldn't the services of a snorkel anyway (not that there's anything wrong with that)

yeah...know what you mean...I kept looking at it and just could not put my finger on what was not quite right....the clear lights have made all the diff

the vents sit proud but it does not look out of place at all...well I think anyway ....I don't think a snorkel would look good on a P38...

Hey Romulus - it looks great with the clear indicators. A nice finishing touch might be to colour code the bumpers. That would look really cool.

well not on your car - it's too pretty for a snorkel
Mine on the other hand, has enough uneven paintwork, dents and scratches, and other off-road kit to get away with it.

I'd like to say that I have the Freelander as the "pretty" car but I know that won't fool anyone

    Cheers, Paul.

I had a good think about colour coding the bumper, but I do like the contrast between the silver, chrome and black.
Thats pretty much it now as far as 'blinging' it up, just get the bonnet re sprayed.....have already spent too much on it....but then again....why not ey!!

My partner drives the Disco, a snorkel would look nice on that, but for a V8 it would be more cosmetic and since none of us go off roading these days, not worth the money really

The only Land Rover in our family that will see any real dirt is our '76 LWB Series III, once it is back on the road with the 'new' 202

Romulas you didnt happen to be driving down wells/boudary road about 3-4 weeks ago? I'm sure I saw a P38 same color as yours with a RRS grill on it? I had to look twice and said to the Mrs, He's put a RRS grill on that, and came the reply "thats nice love"

Are you newly weds? you got 3 whole words...

My wife's response to most observations about Range/Land Rovers is usually confined to 1 or 2 syllables.

I have a theory that our better halves consider showing any interest in the shiny/cool things we notice on the road will be interpreted by us mere men-folk as permission to go and buy it.

Unless it is a Freelander like hers, then there is a little bit of interest if it has shinier wheels or a nice paint job... mostly it's the "I like mine just the way it is" line, which is wife-speak for "don't you dare touch it - it does not need body armour, a 50mm lift and M/T's to get me to work, take the dog to the dog-park and go shopping"

Hmmm me also... it's the LR "wave" which has more recently caused ripples in her normally serene state
"why do you do that?" she asks...
    "do what" I reply
