    Friday night pot stirring!

    Hello gentry,

    I just picked up a marked down card table from Big W for $12-

    You would be pleased to know that when it needs to be used I don't have to:
    - empty out the rear of "the pretty pig" (my P38);
    - look into my (somewhat uncouth) spare wheel well;
    - assemble kit from a seperate carry bag;
    - continue to look into my (somewhat uncouth) spare wheel well;
    - spread a vinyl table cloth (it is already vinyl covered);
    - spend more on over rated wine than my car is actually worth.

    Sorry, no pic's, but I am sure you can visualise a card table!

    God those Chinese know how to improve things... wonder how much they could make me a whole new P38 for?!?!?

    I'd better make sure Land Rover reserve that last one for you Ron.

    You're bound to make a warranty claim with your track record !!

    I'm not familiar with the P38, where does it go when it's packed away, is it the floor in the rear?

    Yep, that's it, Fraser.

    Funny you should say that. One of the legs tends to crossthread.

    True - but this table is always in the car and occupies no additional space. If I had to carry a car table, it would have to go on the floor owing to it's size and then have the load on it anyway.

    The wine is overpriced. I had a bottle on my birthday last year. I was underwhelmed. But one has to try these things.

    This bottle I won - I wouldn't buy another.
