Giant Reign? I think. I got a Trance, the 5 inch travel version. If you can get that for 350 and its in good working order then that sounds like a bargain. In addition to the normal things, lift the bike up from the seat and you will feel if there is any play in the suspension bushings, like a little knock. It is all replaceable, but something to factor in if there is any significant play. I think the fox shocks and forks are pretty reliable but do some research on those specific models and remember its usually not as bad as the Internet makes it out to be!

As far as riding them, they are amazing bikes. The a reign is a bit more downhill/free ride orientated but they pedal just fine up hills and to your local cafe

Well spotted. The guy selling it has a heap of bikes, a real cycling nut. He's also a good friend of my Uncle, so I'm confident he's not trying to rip anyone off.

If you know what year and spec model it is giants website has all the equipment specs and the original retail price, gives you a good comparison point for value. Just stick it in google

I found Gumtree isn't a bad, you might be able to snag a bargin on ebay aswell, I just about gave away a bike by forgetting to put a starting bid amount,

It looks a lot like this one Reign 1 (2009) - Bikes | Giant Bicycles | Australia. If so, I think I scored a bit of a bargain!

Got it yesterday. Very happy with it thus far, but remember I'm a MTB newby - only ever ridden to get to the shops or a mates place type of thing. So much better than a new bike for that sort of money!

Indeed, although the only pressing requirements are a decent light and bike carrier for the 130.
