Ranga ya bugger ya could have mentioned it as I want to do mine as well.

The noise issue probably will be not much different but the old stuff is hanging down and crumbling on mine.

Can you tell me where you got the stuff from? and $.

I got mine from Rare Spares at Virginia, $62. To remove the old crap, I drilled out the pop rivets. It then just comes off, as it's not glued on. The old stuff hanging down might be a fire risk I reckon.
