    250/c4 in series

    Had a request from sideroad to post up some pics of my mods to fit ford 250/c4 in a series and thought I'd better share. Really does transform the vehicle and gives it serious grunt and being auto, the missus half likes driving it.
    The gear box support/crossmember has been moved backwards about 4 inches.

    pics of the levers;

    this is the front showing radiator support panel moved forward to the edge of the "deluxe" bonnet. The deluxe bonnet is a bit longer than the original.

    this pic shows the bonnet stay in original position with the radiator support forward. Usually they bolt together;

    pics of the radiator position. I used angle iron welded into a box to fit flush against radiator support panel.
    it also incorporates bonnet pins and thermo fan;

    pic of the rear prop shaft. I shortened a range rover shaft giving it more angle because it's only 40 cm's long (no parabolics );

    G'day

    I beleive there is an adaptor kit to fit the C4 but what about engine mounts etc. Does a manufacturer make them or did you make your own?

    regards

    The original ford mounts bolt onto a box section welded to the chassis. I'll get a photo up

    At first it was a modified cortina t bar, now it's a swanky b&m shifter. Have toyed with the idea of setting up a cable column shift to free up floor space.
