    Thats it, they all bend in the middle without that brace.

    there is a brace in the middle hh has jumped up and down on them already..not going to fall off any time soon.....

    You want to winch to sit at the same height as the deck (plus any height to clear a front loading board) when tilted so it either needs to mount on a bracket out the front of the deck or you need a post on the A frame. I don't like boat trailer hand winches because the lever is too short and I find the rotary mechanism tiring.

    What I do is carry a Tirfor and use that. But I do need to install the post.

    most of the Migs Ive seen are in museums...theyre old airplanes now so
    hard to get parts but if you have a pilots lic.. go for it!

    sides are undercoated, deck is getting a coat of red oxide same as underneath
