Well after 3 months I finally finished this little project

After fitting the gas tank on the drivers side I was going to get a tank custom made for the passenger side. But this tank came up for a 5th of the price it would have cost to have one made.

Lots of pics.

Firstly you need:
The tank

The gauge

(Thanks to bee utey)

The filler

The pre filter

The diverter valve
Light Truck 6-Port Motor Driven Valve on Pollak

Now comes the fun parts

Fitting sender to tank:

Gasket cut

Hole cut and sender fitted

Hole cut in Landy

Tank fitted to Landy

Pre filter mounted

Gauge and built in transfer switch fitted

Note. top gauge is diesel, bottom gauge is LPG

Diverter fitted

Tank filler plumbed (I plan on having a guard folded up for this, the false floor hides the top of the tank)

Pre filter plumbed

Fuel lines hooked up to the engine supply lines

Reverse polarity relay (required to be able to use an on-off switch, rather than using an on-off-on switch)

And lastly the filler cap fitted with standard Defender locking cap

All done, I can now understand why ARB sting so much to make these things up

I plan on having another tank made up that will sit in the well between the mudguards. One day .....

Any questions sing out
