Doing a great job as ever.... I wish I had your sort of skills as its the only way to get such a unique vehicle without winning Gold Lotto. A Classic Rangie (LSE) ute would be my choice, if there were a choice to be made.

I have set myself a goal to go out to the shed and do minimum of 1 thing to the Ute every night. Seems to be working as all the little things are getting done. :D:D
Dash is back in. I have tested all the core electrical systems with a nanocom and it looks promising. Had to splice and dice the doors, mirrors and front wipers. The central locking was turning out to be a real pita so i cut my losses and disabled all the security with the nanocom and ditched it. I invested in an ebay special so now i have central locking also. I still have to wire up is the spot lights, madman, and lokkers and A/C and maybe themo fans but that can wait till its running.
Engine went back in over the weekend for what i hope is the last test fit before it all stripped down and sent out for paint and chrome (joke)

I ordered a real imitation Greddy front mount intercooler but an Apexi was sent.. go figure! The size was still right and it had the same core as i originally ordered (510x300x63) If its crap and doesn't work i write it off as idiot tax and get a real one once funds become available. But for now it has to doe and it about 30% to 40% bigger then a D2a factory IC.

All the silicone bends should turn up this week so i can test fit everything for the last time before the engine comes out one more time.

I have used all the original mounting brackets i had to work with. This way if the FMIC is crap i can drop a LR specific one in with little fuss.

I was thinking of running the factory auto oil cooler above the FMIC but i worried it might cause issues with flow having the cooler so much higher then the Auto it self. Any thoughts?

The aim was to bolt it up without modifying the turbo so if it doesn't work out I can sell the turbo and get a different/right replacement.
I clocked both the exhaust and compressor housings on the turbo and moved the internal VNT leaver thing over a few notches so it all lined up the way i needed it. Now the HP oil feed it at the top and the and LP is at the bottom.
