I am finally doing a heap of work on the V8 in my 93 Classic. Been procrastinating for months, hmmm maybe years.....
Check out the stock Lucas injector oriface compared to the Bosch Gen 3 Mustang injectors that will be going back into it!
The Yellow bosch has 4 small holes, much better than the lucas 'drain pipe'

Here it is stripped down to get at the cam...
It's a wonder it ran at all, the cam chain was so sloppy I could push the side of the chain and it would move about 2cm!!!!!!

Old cam and new cam lobes
This is what you have to do to get the cam out without loosing your aircon gas. Leave the hoses connected and undo everything else and twist this up out of the way, GENTLY!

I was always a little surprised that our Disco made better power on LPG than ULP - until I had all the injectors out.
One was missing the nozzle completely, the others had loose nozzles. I replaced them with the Bosch yellow Mustang jobs and it's definitely more potent on ULP now. Best price I could find was about $86 per Lucas injector. A refurb set of 8 Bosch ones was just over $100. I think you'll be very pleased.
Yes, that has been my experience too. Once I got the LPG sorted reasonably well it was much better than LPG. Of course having a very loose timing chain doesn't help either fuel!
Yes bout $100 for the Mustang injectors from Midwest Mustang USA
