I know you are still in bull bar mode :) Yes we modified ours to suit a winch.
Camper mode, we used the sign panels as was suggested, helps that hh used to work for a sign company, here is ours if interested;)

As usual you're right onto it Steve! its just the standard non AC grille support, have gone over the different options and decided not to restrict any more airflow into intercooler or to push the bar and winch any futher forward so will be mounting the condensor up high between the back of the cab and tray somewhere. Will be part of the custom tray build... I'm lucky to have a mate that's an auto AC guru who says it won't be a problem up there with electric fans, will be about half of condensor with direct airflow. Earth moving machines have next to zero airflow, just use fans are their AC works very well.Quote:

Make sure you mount the tray according to LR specs. Im yet to see one in the flesh that has been. Its one of the main reasons bracketry is failing and cracking on the chassis. The pdf is on here somewhere...
