ratio of solar W to battery/AH

at some stage you will add panels,,

    just store it away,,

as for your front bench space,, I reckon thats a good one and a half
Regardless of batteries I end up using on mine, I have 5 x 90 watt panels awaiting installation on the Viscount with a portable 120 watt unit. I found the 2 batteries were ok if I could get them charged up each day, even when running the Engel. That’s was when parked up for 8 nights in one spot, but I plan on a larger fridge in it and a few more items that will consume a bit more power (like a bigger TV) 😁

That’s a fair way off I think. Need to finish and sell the Franklin first - although it looks like I have a someone who is seriously interested, so will see if it’s what they are after. Hoping to have it 100% complete by the end of the Jan.

    Wow

I have a millard almost the same, i luv these full width vans, mine was made sometime 75. the original gas cooker in it passed compliance in 75.
It was the 1st van i ever bought, (mid summer) didn't know what to look for and it leaked like a Tea strainer come winter... the main water damage was where the roof and wall meet at the top and around the roof hatch. anyway, that was quiet a few yrs ago now, and knowing they had an aluminium frame planned to do something similar to you guys, so thanx for the pix, it's very motivational although i don't think i will be starting any time soon, but ive got a good insight of what im up for. Be watching with intrest. Thanks again The ho har's, amazing job

If you need more information about your van or get some other ideas, the classic caravan forum is a good one to check out - Home | Classic Caravans

It’s only small but a wealth of info. I’ve got threads running on both my first reno and my latest acquisition there, and the Ho Hars are running a thread there on this build too. 1971 Millard Caravan Rebuild1971 Millard Caravan Rebuild

Is that Grey thing next to the wheel arch the hot water service? If so what brand is it? What pump will you be using? Only asking so many questions so I can copy what you’ve done... 1971 Millard Caravan Rebuild1971 Millard Caravan Rebuild
