Originally I was going to cut the chassis back to behind the back wheels, but once I started I realised the tray is very short already and I need to fit a couple of boxes and the spare wheel up there.

Stop hinting at things and just come ou and say it. If you are trying to say that there is not much difference in photo's from 1 year ago then you would be mistaken.
Yes they look similar, but between those photo's the entire car was stripped down to a bare chassis, including all suspension and axles and diffs removed and dissasembled. The motor was completely rebuilt and then the entire car was put back together, but this time with LRA extended shock mounts, LRA body lift, maxidrive axles and rear diff, maxidrive front axles and ARB locker all running 4.11's. The auto has had all new seals and gaskets installed, as has the transfercase. The inside of the vehicle was completey gutted and all excees wiring removed and is now almost finished being rewired. Seats are at trimmers being retrimmed. Rust in floor was cut out and new pieces welded in. All doors were removed and repaired as necessary (they were not closing properly) and then put back on.

I am not saying a thing, just thought it was worth comparing the vehicle from a year ago. Some people are obviously a little touchy. I will try and remember to post this years pictures when you post the update in October next year.:D:D:D

You showed us how easy you take the body off with that forklift of yours (your dad's)
including all suspension and axles and diffs removed and dissasembled.
You stripped Kermit over 12 months ago and you had the body off the ute. How hard was it to undo 3 nuts, one brake line and the prop shaft to get the rear diff out. Or the 3 bolts, steering rod, and the prop shaft to remove the front

You already had the body off, you just had to add some spacers when you put it back,

Wasn't that how they were in Kermit. Didn't you just swap them over

Another big job. Would have been silly not to do them why they were all separated

Pulled out wiring loom
and is now almost finished being rewired.
Make sure the gas tanks are well clear when you put the battery back in

That must have involved at lot of work

4 bolts a side and you fixed it by getting another one
