    Hi Nigel
It isnt quite as heavy as it looks. Can lift it quite easily so its in the 15 to 20kg range at the moment.Has to be reasonably strong as Im fitting the top part of a cargo barrier to it and it will have the second battery built into it(no room under the bonnet)

Hi Andrew, i,m a cabinet maker by trade and if you have an old spray gun handy two coats of a spray grade contact glue applied to both surfaces gives a good bond but using a scraper and applying by hand can be easier. cheers Leif

    Got back into it yesterday.
Put it into the D2 to work out fixing it down.I wasnt happy with the amount of space it took up.Decided to go without the drawers, just lopped them off
Drawers would have been great, but took up way too much room.
Still intend fixing the top 1/2 of the cargo barrier to the fridge box and fitting the battery to it.

    Spray adhesive

I tried you regular spray adhesives and they were crap, Then found a 3M spray in Clark rubber that i have sucesfully stuck Marine grade floor carpet to most of my s3. During a recent gearbox replacement it took a good grip with two hands to pull this off to get at the various floor pans and hump bots. have also used the same spray for roof lining which has lasted 12 months so far.
