Once the turbo is sorted, I'll run it up on the dyno when time permits also

Well, some bad news for Tony, just fitted the x eng sway bar, no fit

Have to cut off the sway bar brackets and poke them out another inch, easy enough, then they'll clear the bags

I cut the brackets off, added some 50mm heavy wall box I cut down chucked in an extra 30mm length and all clears and yep, it works a treat

Bugger As soon as we change things... The ol can of worms....... See how your rear bellows go in the stock perch?

Wile I'm at it, may as well pull the bags and mod the top perch as pinches the air bellows quite badly when allowed to drop onto the bump stops. One of mine is now badly damaged from this Wondered what the "eeeeaart" sound was

From what I have heard no, but that was from a very early one, they may have changed designs.

    My experience:

Fitted just before the canning. Initially very happy. Easy to fit and worked well. Started working intermittently along the gibb river road. Adjusted it up a couple of times, but still intermittent.

Spoke to Steve(?) (the guy behind x-eng.) - he was very helpful, but said a couple of things that worried me:
    - if you try to drive with the HB engaged you can bend the backing plate
    - if you adjust the HB up too high you can melt part of the calipers (plastic). He said you need at least 6 clicks.

I am not sure what the issue with mine is, but I adjusted it all the way up (limit of the cable). I now have between 6 and 9 clicks to have the HB fully on (so still have the variation I had before which caused it to work intermittently). However the HB works 100% of the time now.

I did try and drive off with the HB engaged once while on the canning - which may have caused the problem??? When I get a chance I will remove the backing plate and check it is flat, and that the plastic parts are OK.

You bring the car trailer, we'll stick your Puma on the back, do some times, then swap
