nice bit of work. That shaft extension, you don't think you went a bit light with the bit you inserted?

The Lathe x 2 is handy for mods and tools.

Remember this is to save the 120"

    A few more pics.....

    The new shock mount

    The other side

The old 47 bits and some flat bar they are made of.

The drag link that needs to gain weight

    The weight for drag link

Still have to shoehorn the 2H gear box in

The old H gear box is heading to a 50model series 1 with a 76 Rangie chassis Just don't tell the series 1 buffs

    Looks good

You have left the crush / collapse tube in the steering column? ... (2cnd photo showing the large black tube going through the battery cradle)

Whats with the "Weight for the drag link"?

Have put full 60 column in but had to be extended it They collapse mainly by uni and angle of chassis.

Won't fit I have to make a new one. So will be heavy duty.

HJ 60 Toyota Land Cruiser ( Mid 1980s leaf sprung G wagon) Not the best for the job (is what I had here) as requires some engineering to make fit. The end result will be good as spares off HJ 60s are plentifull around here.
I have seen a few with 75 series setup. The box sits further forward and pitman arm faces otherway. May be better for coil conversion.
