well i got her back and the gearbox is still no good $2200 later and its worse than it was when i took it up there got 40km all good than locked in first and now it wont go into gear full stop so they can organise it to be towed back to them pretty diddapointed but anyway

i got a bit done today
i put a new interior light in which im over the moon with, i got it off ebay its led and cost $25

i have wired it into the factory light so that it works with my doors and i can turn it off without adding switches

to get it to work i soldered some wires onto the back of the original light

and it is an absoloute treat lights up inside so good im over the moon

than i got the centre shelf into the boot so now i can get the draw presseed up out of alum

Sounds like you did go through some hassle, but worth it at the end. Keep the pics coming, great work.

got the roof racks on, i bought them off ebay got 3 brand new for $95 and i must say im pretty happy with them, only trouble the ones i bought allow for 250mm clearance and the bars were just touching on the centre of the roof, i overcome this easily because on the legs the bars slide into provision for them instead i bolted the bars on top of this section(there only there till i make a basket which will bolt up to the legs i only bought them for the legs as i wanted proper looking legs not homemade looking ones)

been starting on the roof lights, i wanted them to be as close to the roof as they could so when i put the basket on if something hangs out the front it can go above the lights, i made the light bar out of some 30mm rhs

    do they look to big

still have to cap the ends and paint the bar

Looks good, but are you going to move them forward? they look too far back.
