    on board air for under $100

    just compleated this if anyone intrested i can do a write up if you like but be patient as my written language is'nt great

    Ive got the exact same compressor in the exact same spot. dose yours rub on the door pocket when the door is shut?

    did you hook up a pressure switch in it for the main tank so the compressor starts automaticley?

    If you did what pressure switch did you use?

    sorry still havent finished the wright up but she works well after a 4wd trip on sunday
    the compresor dosen't rub on the door trim as i removed the base plate
    and yes i used a presure swich (my spare one) its a standared arb 70 psi on 100 off the fit into most drain plugs on house holed tanks its visible in the 2 lower pics at the top of the thread

    lost what i was wrighting
    so ill do a wright up in bits and pices
    item list
    air tank (from landy andy) or you can get them from your local dump resuse shop for $10
    air compressor from ebay for $70
    all the adaptors and conections from enzed $18.50 (pay cash and you can usall pay trade price)
    and the air swich (i had one ) but that will put you slightly over as the cheapest place i found was $21.15
    and hose off my old setup

    By air switch do you nmean pressure switch ie once it reaches a certain pressure in the tank, it goes open circuit (ie turns off the compressor) and then closes the circuit when the pressure drops below a certain level ?

    What presure (PSI) did you get?

    I'm looking to do a very similar system on my ute and am looking for good places to mount an air tank and then try to source one of appropriate size.
    It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
