    Hi,
a friend has one of these Ox winches from TJM.
We had a club day when all the winches were played with, PTO, electric, hydraulic, hand powered.

The hydraulic was certainly slower than the electrics, but it didn't need to wait to cool down (like the Tirfor) and could pull continuously without any dramas.

    cheers

the TJM Ox hyd is a rebadged Mile Maker. Your mates PS pump probably flows about 6ltr/min.....now put a real pump in and flow 10x that for 10x the line speed

The Ramsey is planetary and the Thomas is worm wheel.
I will try and dig up the specs later.

Sorry for the confusion, I am after the following:
    • The brand and part number of the 12volt solenoid control valve
    • Ditto for the 12volt remote handpiece
