The tool brackets are an interesting mix of some ex mil and some that have been purpose built. Note the shovel holder.
I must admit that I didn't pick this from the photographs, I went and snuck a personal viewing the other day. The whole unit is very nicely done and as a result is a very user friendly little toy but still retains it's heritage lines.
The following shot of an enthusiastic new owner seems to remind me of a Hannah-Barbera cartoon character of the earlier years, although that particular vehicle I believe was foot powered whereas this one is 2.25l Rover powered.

She looks great - what colour is it? Kind of looks like gloss olive drab in the pics!

I hope you can bring her on the weekend. I seem to have started something with Matilda - the entire club will be driving S1's soon.
    Hi Dan,

It does have a middle seat but it needs recovering and fitting in place. Yes the exhaust comes out in front of the passenger rear wheel. It can be a little noisy but I think that goes with things like this. I think "Gloss Olive Drab" is about it, that's what Glen reckoned as well . Not sure if we will bring her on the drive yet. Welly has some issues with not being able to lock it up and so on and there is definitely some work required on brakes. I reckon anyone who can work out the switches and buttons to start it will be pretty good and if I take out the rotor button as well then it isn't going anywhere while we sleep.

Well, you can't lock mine either. How about we park them next to each other and you install your dog between them both?

As for Gumnut - It's a real cracker I reckon - the noise is an S1 thing - it's a case of earrplugs and HTFU, I've been told.

I was hoping you might be in her, as otherwise I'll be the only Mr Magoo in a 1950's rig this weekend. But you want it to be safe - and I guess you still need to get her registered.

Looking forward to the weekend anyway, see you then.

It means we hope he will register it prior to this weekend - 'cos we're all off on a GCLRO club leafer tour, being a long weekend up here in God's country. And I shall be sleeping in the tub, digger - so don't get any ideas!
