Yeah I dont think I would be to keen on cutting firewood on it
There is a guy on ebay at the moment with a saw bench thst can be driven off a PTO Ebay no 161002694798. Looks a bit dangerous , you'd have to count your fingers before & after using it I thinkWayne

I did have one a few years ago. Poorer condition. Tony the bench and safety guard slide so you pull the bench back, put the wood on and slowly push it in. Takes a bit of common sense to work and yes they are unforgiving, will rip your arm from the socket.
I also had a chaff cutter/hammer mill, but it posed a massive transport issue.
Being Defence they refused to move any of it, so it all stayed at the farm until they cleaned up and the scrappy took them.
Easo
Hi Easo, Same with capstan winches , farmers took them off the Landrovers with intention of fitting on other vehicle , they were put on shelf in shed & nobody knew what the small bits were for so went for scrap or when farm auctioned the auctioner didn,t know what they were for so only sold the winch. Wayne
When yiu doo duild it , make it out of lite weight meterial. I built mine out of thicl wall SHS & 3mm plate than had it galv & the pipe is heavy gauge with heavy pipe flanges . It was oK 15 years ago when iwas younger & i could lift it into the back of Landy by my self but i now finf it is too heavy to lift thats why i have the wooden box trailer now , not as far to lift & saves damaging Landy's rear tub. I built it heavy thinking it would need the weight to stop it moving but the weight of the water is plenty of weight for that . The only time it moves is when it is on tar mac serfaces which are smooth & there is not enough friction between the ground & frame. A liter pump would help also. Wayne
I figured after all youre advice and my swearing, bitching and bleeding ,and scince rego i best put up an as is now pic
still needs body work and paint etc etc but.....mobile
ill pop up a front shot when i go out next time

This vehicle has been used as a roo shooting rig for the last 30 odd years. Was originally purchased by the NSW Government for the Dept of Forestry.
