I wish I had a big shed but only manage over time to afford a few smaller ones. The seats I made for comfort not originality.
As John said, the front capstan works with a simple dog clutch from the front of the crank pulley.
Many years ago I sold a series one fire truck. Was it to you? I cant remember.[bigsad]
No. I dropped off some drive flanges or shafts or both as changed to MD ones. It was on our way up to a DIP trip I think.
Hi Guys
Just thought I would share a couple of photos of my little 1950 I picked up mid 2017
No. 06102238
Found her here in SA, but the story goes that she was the young guys Grandpas off of his family property just over in North Western Vic... the guy was using it as a shooting rig that he would go out on weekend camping trips with his mates with.
So she runs, drives, and the lights work! I have been just slowly trying to find parts to complete her eg steerig wheel, doors and D lights
Plans are a quick freshen up and keep the patina then drive her [smilebigeye]
Cheers
Darren
Way to go.[thumbsupbig][thumbsupbig]
Oh the embarrassment, having to get a 'lift' home!:Thump::BigCry:
Found on internet.
This is the little 86 inch seen at the start of this thread - now in another life and a bit of work later! (two photos about 12 months apart)
Landy Smurf - thought you might be interested. I suspect it has changed hands a couple of times now...
New exhaust + manifold, new tyres, rims sandblasted and painted, and a bunch of other bits and pieces over the last 12 months...
