Cleaned horn, now no longer working

    Hi,

I cleaned my horn. Touched up the paint. Cleaned the inside.... but now Mr Lucas his horn stopped working.

I tried the setting screw to get the vibration going again. It does do that, but very poorly and no hoot coming out of it....

    Anyone any advice?

Other horn refurbishers.... be warned. Better leave the inside alone if it is working.

    Horn

Sounds like you have got it a little damp
dry it out in the oven at 60/65 C for a bout or so
clean the contact with a little piece of wet and dry
also clean the vibrating bit and the pole face
providing you have done nothing else
    should work
    cheers
