Havent been on here for a while. Havent started on Snowy yet has ive been busy modifing and getting my hilux engineered over the past few months. Ive finally finished doing that and have cleared/sold all the hilux left overs so now have room to start the resto.
Holden 6 will be coming out of snowy in the next couple of weeks, them im sending the firewall off to get restored. No great rush to get it finished but atleast itll be a start. Once i actually start doing something ill update this thread with pics.
Hi there
I believe they already a Land Rover - as they have a series II Firefly Fire Engine.I wasn't sure, the Snowy Scheme Museum at Adaminaby was originally sponsored by Toyota and one of their original conditions was that there were to be no Land Rovers depicted in the collection, basically Toyota were denying the first decade of the scheme. The sponsorship has now lapsed and last time I spoke to the curators of the museum they were looking for a Land Rover that had been on the scheme
All the best
Wayne
Well im still at it slowly, very slowly. Been fiddling around with Snowy of late and starting to get somewhere. Still in the stripping down stage and collecting bits but i have some motorvation now. Hopefully have it down to a chassie soon then start from there.
