Havent been on here for a while. Havent started on Snowy yet has ive been busy modifing and getting my hilux engineered over the past few months. Ive finally finished doing that and have cleared/sold all the hilux left overs so now have room to start the resto.
Holden 6 will be coming out of snowy in the next couple of weeks, them im sending the firewall off to get restored. No great rush to get it finished but atleast itll be a start. Once i actually start doing something ill update this thread with pics.

Reminds me of the great hullabaloo over that TV advert where Toyota claimed they had " built the snowy scheme"

The ad was pulled after the ABC exposed the fraud on one of those great shows they have .

    Hi there

I wasn't sure, the Snowy Scheme Museum at Adaminaby was originally sponsored by Toyota and one of their original conditions was that there were to be no Land Rovers depicted in the collection, basically Toyota were denying the first decade of the scheme. The sponsorship has now lapsed and last time I spoke to the curators of the museum they were looking for a Land Rover that had been on the scheme
I believe they already a Land Rover - as they have a series II Firefly Fire Engine.

    All the best
