Its good to have something to look forward to! Worked last weekend, work this weekend, State 10m air rifle comp for daughter in Freo after that. Then maybe.

    Good to hear Cliffy,

It will be a nice landy when its finished. Sorry to hear its still here, but it will give me more time to get my badge off the front grill. Its the wrong one for it anyway. (ask Andy about that).

Dont forget to drop in if you come down to get it.

    Cheers Steve

Good things come to those who wait

Karma they say is a good dead that comes back, well I am now inclined to believe in it. I found a very nice Series 2 wagon in Albury on Friday a genuine barn job 6 cyl original paint unmolested or modified. Its not what I want so put some pics up on the series 2 page. Quick as a flash the series 2 boys were onto it. Pm'd the details of the owner off on Saturday morning. Now I asked Gromit if he knew of any series 1's and he put me onto a lady selling one in Victoria. I checked out the photos and have bought it .

Seats have been recovered and I would not be surprised if the vehicle was restored previously back in the 80's or 90's it should not look this good. I also notice the front grill panel apears to be steel not aluminium. John B tells me some replica ones where made of steel. It was running 6 months ago before storage now has no battery needs a repair to the fuel pump (diaphram) and rear brake slave cylinders . I dont think it will need a complete restoration just a tidy up and repair mechanicaly.I cant believe my luck.
