    Cleaning

    Hi All
The gearbox, transfer case, front and rear diffs and the engine
were covered in a mixture of mud, grease and oil
So Pop and I decided to clean them.
Many many cans of degreaser and a pressure washer later.
The gearbox and transfer case came up a treat,
here are some photos of the gearbox
and I will get some more photos this weekend.
    Many thanks to Pop
    All the best

    Strip down

    Hi all
I have been a bit lazy posting on this thread.
So I decided it was about time I posted some progress photos.
Pop and I decided the chassis needed to be cleaned, few little areas repaired and repainted because there had been another coat of paint put on the chassis at some point in the past, the area that the paint was applied wasn't cleaned probably before the paint was applied so the paint is now peeling off, so the body needed to be taken off.

    Gearbox

    Hi All
The rubber plug in the side of the bellhousing had fallen out some time in the past.
So over time the bellhousing, clutch and thrust bearing
    had become full of dirt.
So anytime Pop or I went to move the car we were
greeted by a very noisy thrust bearing and clutch.
It was decided that the gearbox and transfer case
    were going to be rebuild.
We drain the oil out of the gearbox/transfer case
and found two halves of one of the flat syncro springs in the oil.
Finding that just proved that the gearbox needed to be rebuild.
With Drive shafts and Everything else (speedo cable, earth cable etc) removed, the Gearbox was ready to be removed.
    Here is the photos
