    Hi Dennis
been waiting for your wise voice
I knew Digger and others would not take any notice of my derision and it would be over looked
any body with a Series one parts book would have worked it out without splashing out as if a miracle rebirth has arrived
I still hope a 48 will appear BUT
I could win the X-lotto to
    cheers
    Ian

I wasn't arguing with anyone (as I havent got the knowledge
to argue with you blokes and you know that Ian! ) I was pointing out why I nominated it as `48/`49,,,its from info off of CALVIN*
(*which is not infallible I know but its pretty handy anyway!!)

but I also was pointing out differences I had noticed also (eg bumper etc).

I don't normally like changes from original all that much but I must say I do like the hardtop on the '86.. It's been cut down and welded to fit and although a tad rough (probably from the date of making !) I think it looks great... would be interesting to see if it can be securely fixed to the windscreen.
