    Spare wheel clamp bolts

    The clamp bolts for a Series1 (bonnet) are they 7/16"BSF x ?4" in length or are they 1/2" BSF x 4" in lenght, cheers Dennis

    Pretty certain they are 1/2" BSF. Certainly not as small as 7/16", and certainly BSF.

    Original S1 80" and probably early 86" were 3/8"BSF. Later ones1/2". .W.

    The early bolts were slightly shorter also.

    The clamps would have changed at that time as well, from the one leg type for the 6.00 tyre, to the two legged version with one leg for the 6.00 tyre and another longer leg on the other end for the 7.00 tyre.
