That's the one mate. I think Homestar just went looking before it appeared on eBay.

As for the other bit, would the mods allow a restoration thread on an MGB?

Absolutely - we just need to find the right spot - I'll have a chat to the other mods and see what is most appropriate.

We don't want you to bugger off so you're stuck with us...

We'll worry about it when it happens. Sadly, few forums allow or support build threads.
If I'm lucky enough to get the GT I'm interested in, I'll be doing a molasses bath... of the BODY That's going to take some organising. But first, I have to sell my Landy and then I have to be jammy enough to get the GT for what I can afford. There's a very real chance I'll wind up with no project at all

I wish you luck selling the Series 1 and with finding the GT you're after. In the meantime, there's nothing stopping you from popping in here to air your views on the world.

Moderators are busy people, they don't need that as well

Wombat's left the shed... well, most of her, the chassis, engine and gearbox are still in residence, just waiting for the opportunity to move them. She was sold about a month ago, it's taken us this long to get the move organised. She's only in a temporary residence at the moment while she waits for a new shed to be built for her restoration.

He's read the forum. Not sure if he's a member yet. I'm sure he'll come on and roundly condemn me for selling him the thing at some point
