dunno anything about the guards, except that they could be hand made if you get really desperate.
I just wanted to say,
I want your Packard!

I'm considering a rebuild of an 88" series 1, however I am missing a decent set of front guards. How readily available are these?
Thanks
They are available ex UK, a chap in the Series 1 club makes them from scratch, but they are very expensive + freight also I believe there is a waiting list, but it's all achievable if you want them, cheers Dennis
sometimes I miss things,
you said you are missing a decent set of front guards,
does that infer that you have an indecent set of front guards, or more correctly, a damaged set?
these things can sometimes be beaten back into shape by a clever panel beater that knows how to work aluminium.
and I believe there is someone on here that has made his own guards.
Good second hand guards/wings to suit a 88" series 1 are very hard to find it took me years to find a pair that were good and they even need some panel beating with wooden hammers don't use metal ones on the soft alloy.
