The internals look quite clean compared to the external. I asked him whose boat anchor he had stolen.

I'm on my phone so I can't tell what the manifold is...nothing stands out yelling Siamese ... then again I broke my glasses yesterday .......I'll pop up a photo of a 56 odd manifold that I've had in molasis , should be able to tell by that
Posibly a machiened up distillate manifold to get the exhaust to fit through the cards or some odd Landy thing

As I said I painted over my block numbers.... but for them to be ledgible after all the block paint had been dissolved away over the years from over top of it is a recommendation for that paint lol

Mate has started on the wheel rims & straightened & painted the tail gate. Also fitted new dist cap & wires.
I don't know all the nitty gritty on the restoration , just what he sends me by text.

He has finished repairing the bulk head & has top coated it & is now cleaning the 50 years of dirt & grease off the gear box before opening it to have a look in side.

Not a lot been happening in Tasmania as late , mate has hurt his back trying to move the gearbox around by him self.
He did send me so photo's of his latest purchase today . He said it has the original motor & it is running. Seats look good & steering wheel centre is complete & not broken.
It seams to have a strange winch , it looks like it pulls side ways. must have been for a special job I guess .
