Well I have cheated a bit.......Most seat foam is far to hard.
I added a piece of thin Ply with 4 drain holes above the Hessian, so I can use softer foam.
Mystery spacer came from under Tub. Loose and only one ?

I like the support offered by the firmer foams, but I agree that they can be too hard. As long as they keep their shape and don't let your arse hit the plywood base.I don't recognise that rubber ? block, but it was 20 years ago that I had my tub off!
