    Arthur Goddard 100 story LRO

Back in January I had the great honour of driving Arthur to his 100th Birthday Party. This story was difficult for John Dean who could not fly up from Launceston due to Qld lock down. I think it was a good job on his part even so.Arthur LRO.jpg Latest LRO Magazine .

    Wayne,

Hello and thanks for posting up the LRO article.

It wasn’t in the last couple of issues that I went through at my local newsagents. Do you happen to know which month issue it appeared or could you PM me John’s contact address.

    Cheers,

    Neil

Will send him a message tomorrow . Which news agency do you get yours from , every time I find a news agency who sells LRO the next time I go in to get another they no longer sell them. I only buy them when JD has an article in them,

    Wayne,

    Hello again.

Sherwood Newsagency beside Woolies in Sherwood Rd carries LRO most months. I use to buy it and Land Rover Monthly each month but found that increasingly they carried less info on the older trucks and more on topics of little interest. So, I just subscribe to Classic Land Rover nowadays - it’s about 90% focused on Series 3 and earlier, almost a 50% saving and you get the mag about a month before the issue hits our newsstands.

    Cheers,

    Neil

I am the same , I like reading about the older LR's & trips they have dome so if I had it delivered most months I would not read it . I also prefer having a paper version rather than a digital one , I would rather read it in my leisure rather than having to sit down at computer & read it .

    Wayne,

    Hello again.

That Classic Land Rover magazine that I subscribe to has the option for either a hardcopy sent airmail in the post or access to a read only website. Or both.

I get the magazine sent to me each month - great service including replacing copies that were damaged in my own mailbox by rain.

    Cheers,

    Neil
