Brake Shoes ID number (pref Bendix)

Gentlemen, Im finding it increasingly frustrating trying to find parts for our Series 1 vehicles, as most Vehicle ID systems used online don't seem to recognise anything prior to Series 2. Some end at the Defender.
Bendix, Repco, Supercheap and Sparesbox, cannot recognise Series 1.

Can anyone tell me the part number for Bendix or Repco Brake shoes for our vehicles (10" x 42mm) , or suggest a reasonably priced local supplier? My shoes have no ID stamped on them, so that's are no help either,
    thanks
    Jeff

You need to find an old, established brake company.
Supercheap, Sparesbox are unlikely to be bale to help.

Somewhere I have a page I photocopied from a brake catalogue at Clutch & Brake Australia, I'll see if I can find it.
CBA reline shoes and they sent them to their division in WA to get done.

You may find they are trade only but worth a try.

    Thansk Colin,
I reached out to CBA and they can relied shoes here in WA for $100 an axle, which is not too bad.
They reline twice a week, so short lead times.

Many thanks for the great advice.

    regards
    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,
That's more than I've paid in the past but that was quite a few years ago.
They used to be able to offer exchange shoes locally but I did get some re-lined. They shipped to WA for the re-lining to be carried out.

Good to hear they could help.

I got mine from Repco. No issues?
How are the series 1 shoes on a 80 inch different from the S2/S3 Shoes on a 88 inch?
