Can anyone share a picture of the door top front weather seal in position on an S1?

    HI All,
I am still struggling with the door top front seal, part number 301157, that is part of the door top and seals the door top against the windscreen frame. Its a big P-channel section, about 36 mm wide with a bulb of 19mm
diameter and 26" long. Oner each side.
I cannot find anything suitable locally so am stuck with having to pay UK price and freight, so I would like to make sure the seal on offer from John Craddock is the right one.
Many suppliers state No longer Available, so that can often mean those to can supply are substituting something else.

Any advice, pictures and guidance, would be hugely appreciated.

    warm regards so all,

I can't help with a picture but bear in mind the UK suppliers are just buying from an extruder.
Check around Australian rubber extruders, you may find something suitable.

I just looked at Ambassador Industrial (which is close to me)and found P seals but not quite to the dimensions you listed, there's one that's 17mm bulb 33mm wide.
Ambassador have a separate operation where you can buy small quantities (you don't want to have to buy full 30m rolls !).

You may find something closer to home.

I just ordered a complete door and tail gate seal kit from CKD in the UK (in the kits section) . Very comprehensive , not overly dear and not outrageous for posatge.

Mike, has it arrived? Had a chance to fit it?
    With thanks,

    Stuart,
Sorry, not yet. I keep looking at it and thinking that I should fit the seal kit before next Winter so the old Clayton CB heater/demister will work a little more effectively! I haven't had the door tops on for many years. After fitting a 3 seater canvas truck cab recently, I decided that the heater would almost have a chance of working in the cooler months if I fitted a door seal kit. I'll let you know how it goes. I ordered a new windscreen frame to bulkhead rubber seal strip with the other kit and it's seems to be very well made and it fiited perfectly, so I am happy so far.
    Mike.
