That looks remarkably straight. Pity about the Holden motor and the dodgy front.

Yep you bet lol, I wonder where the 80" is that the grill came off!!!!!![]()
So learned Series people , is it worth $500 as the starting point for a project?
Its close to me and a little bit tempting......

Tote
I would say yes it's worth it. But remember, the Holden coversion has required a chassis mod, so returning it to original requires surgery. As I said, a good body and that's a great start point.

Ideally the front X member has just had a section cut out of it which can easily be brought back to original - and maybe some modification to the radiator panel - nothing too hard - as evidenced by moving the lights to the guards.
If the front X member has been moved forward (doesn't look like it) then it will need to be moved back.
But then - the holden can be left in it and I would just be looking at moving the lights back to the radiator panel.
30 years ago I converted an 86 to a holden and had to move the lights to the guards and fabricate a new radiator panel.
This is certainly worth $500 maybe more - but then I feel most series 1s are undervalued.
