Personally I hope he gets that sort of money. That's the price they go for in the UK and US and instead of us giving them away to the bunch of Britt and North American raiders who come out here and steal them from under our noses, I'm glad an Aussie knows what he wants for it. It looks really well presented.
Good on him, stick to your guns.

P.S. Now who do we know who lives in Cleveland?
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Hi,
I've only been around series one's for 3 years now, & thats the first time i've come across a Complete PTO for sale. At least you don't have to worry about chasing parts to complete a unit, its all there ready to bolt up to ya Landy!
I know you are joshing, I should have said Cleveland Qld, was thinking it may be someone on here.
Keep your eyes open, and go to local clearing sales, they can often be found amongst the detritus. I picked one up at a sale in Dalgety NSW for $50, found it in what was the farms vehicle dumping ground.

Hi there all
The pork pie lights have been there a few times now.......but maybe that has something to do with the price........ouch.

I am just wondering if the following find is a real badge, or just a reproduction. I've never seen metal ones, just aluminium ones. Anyone knows if the first series ones featured metal badges?
Item number: 170329511861
This is an original LAND ROVER solid heavy metal name badge which I believe was originally fitted to series one models. It is tarnished / aged otherwise it is in excellent condition. It measures approx 5 1/2 inches by 2 inches.
Can't say whether it's a repro or not but the early ones looked like that.
You can almost see one here on Huey
