As I don't normally frequent this particular Section of the site often (silly me)
I wouldn't mind building a project similar to the 107 pictured.
How hard would it be to source a tailgate and front bar for a Series 1 ??

You should like the 107 near the Seymour turn off. Try a pm to Ellard for a tailgate as there was a bloke in his town with a heap of spares, which may include a tailgate. I think this bloke runs the SA Toy Museum in the township Wayne will let you know.

So besides a tailgate, front bar & rear tailights and a fair bit of TLC, what else is it in need of ??

No rust problems here, only had 24.5mm of rain this year, 19 mm of that in 1 downpour.....so much for the farmers autumn rains.

G'gay disco300tdi, well olmate has confirmed that it is still there. If your aproaching Seymour from the melb end its a sinch to find. Exit, head 200m and take first left, keep looking left and you'll see it next to a tin shed. All the details are on the gate.

I didnt check the chassis for rust, but it is quite good. Every thing is there to run it. Just a little love.
