Well people - today has been event full. First I come home and my little fella starts to walk. Not far ... but he walks

So I have a couple of tubes (as you do) and then decide to throw some green paint around

Very light first coat - shall rub them down tomorrow (pm) and then go again

Have been too busy with other things and my time is not my own
But I do have a question - Do I respray a second coat now onto Shorty or do I sand back with 600 Wet'n Dry first. (That's right - a spray painting numpty)
I know Ian - you shall be shaking your head and I am sure that you have already told me but "its best to be safe" - aint it.....

Painting
hi troy
yes mate
if you want a better finish rub it down with at a lest 600
water (thinners)your last coat with a wet coat more thinners
will give a shine off the gun
cut the air down
and pass the job a little slower so you put a wetter coat on
be careful with runs
put it on
do not dry and put more on
you will f......k up
it is a learning curve
try and try again
cheers
Ian

Painting has had to wait for "yet another" weekend as I have had other things to do. Olmate has had its head off and I am replacing the valve stem seals whilst every spare moment has been spent around the home. One good thing has come of it tho as I get to drive the ol'mans 80" until I get olmate back on the road
- thinking of that ... it may take a while now
