Actually $A397 if the parcel weighs less than 2Kg for those of us who are already LRSOC members.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Thanks for that Diana - unfortunately that is still about $400 all up where something similar is about $20 at Supercrap - and cleaply replaced when you back into something.

    Doesn't look as good though

Yes, if I remember rightly the Series 1 lights are narrower at the lens and wider at the body, and somewhat deeper relative to the diameter. And with a protruding lens, to ensure it got broken if you backed into anything!

You are correct with that - however some of the lights in the second post by Adam would be cost effective alternatives at around 30 pounds if originals could not be acquired at a reasonable price.

here is the Azzapardi bloke's site

now are these pork pie lenses plastic or glass like the D lamps?

has anyone got a sample they would be prepared to loan to show this bloke? or does someone know of a site that provides the dimensions to be able to manufacture from?

I'd be prepared to establish costs if there are enough takers!

    Hi there

As for reproduction tail lights "D light - after speaking with Classic vintage bulbs based in SA "Adelaide" he is now making the "D" lights and selling them to the UK.

After seeing "D" lights going for around the $50- $90 each on the second hand market why would you bother when you can purchase new ones for not much more($120 each) - has any one spoke to him about pork pie lights availability etc.....

    Wayne

PS I see no one has bidded on the $500 pork pie lights on ebay...
