Two new old stock Lucas 518 (pig pies) on eBay

    Hi,

If anyone wants to get two originals on eBay and start making reproductions, log into eBay and look for Item number: 260398973113.

And if there are affordable reproductions, or even originals, I need two URGENTLY.

I am trying to get my Hebe roadworthy...

    Have a look here:

    Good luck, and thanks,

    Hi there

If your referring to the pair of pork pie lights on ebay - with the asking price of $600.................................or $300 for one

As for myself I couldnt justify that sort of cost......

I don't think any of us can
Theres alot of people watching, but suspect there will be no bidding war.

As a cheaper option, and I respect its not totally original but looks authentic for that period, "Classic Vintage bulbs" in SA make reproduction "D" lights for around $100 each.

PS - The reproduction are made of brass and well contructed.

    Well all the best

Hi, for those who dont know the pork pies with the reflector are the ones used on the early 86" & 107" then they changed some time in 1956 to have where the reflectors are mounted on the body & not in the light due to lighting requirements of the time.

As for making pork pies, in a few weeks Iam going to have a crack at making a close copy. I figure that if I can make "medieval armour" Iam sure I could come up with something close.
