measured up all the pieces that i need to replace and put the rear cross member LHS wing on the computer it is nothing special but it is a start
i dont know how good and clear this will come up but ill try this only a 2d net plan.next step is 3d

I just want to say I'm hugely impressed with a 17 (now 18 almost) year old tackling something like this.
I started at 16 with a Renault Dauphine and VW Beetles. No internet, no books, just trial and error. The learning curve is huge, but the sense of satisfaction is just as immense.

thanks man.im getting keener and keener.i just wish i started this project a few months earlier so i would know i would finish it for sure.i have exams this week and then next week ill be flat out like a lizard drinking trying to get all these made up,most of it i should be able to make from scrap but i think for the gearbox crossmember i will have to buy some.even though these drawings still need lots of work at least if you need to copy that all the dimensions are there.ordering parts for gearbox transfercase and diffs tomorrow arvo excitedQuote:

unfortunately my parts did not come in:(
so instead i got started on the engine,not sure how good it is gonna be,if it no good my s3 engine is going in:(
also dismantled another diff centre as the other one the carrier was not to crash hot but this one is good anyway some photos
