Welcome. Read everything in the Series 1 forum here would be a good start. Ask specific questions, and I am sure all the experts here will help as much as possible.

Photo's are the go and it's nice to have a look back on them later on.

I've never owned a Series 1 but it's great to see a young bloke having a go - you'll find heaps of information and advice here.

    Good luck with it.

A cheap reference book is "Practical Classics On Landrover Series 1 Restoration". It is small book containing various restoration articles.

Comes up on e-bay often for just over $30.

G,day all, its a great idea to take phptos of every thing before and during the big strip down, as you go along as it will make it easier when its time to put it all back together. Another tip is to label every thing too and dont throw any thing away as it could be a rare or unique part. Ive done that and its a pain to replace it lol.

Looks like you have a good starting point for a great project.

You'll find a stack of info, help and knowledge here. Just cost you a few progress pics. Have a look at 'olmates' threads on his ex 107 ute and 80" projects.

    Oh and welcome, Easo
