Thread: starting series 1 restoration

ok motor is still away has been away for around 8 months now so not to happy bout that but still im not able to put it in myself anyways so not to bad. i went to a guy today who has heaps and heaps of military stuff he has a 107 sw and a 49 s1 and 3 lightweights he has heaps of land rover stuff in his house and is constantly going back and forth to england unfortunately i cant buy some of his parts because it cost to much to takle back but he does have some that i need oh well

ok well we got back in the country 6 weeks ago and apparently the guy has started on the engine,but atm the plans are for dads shed to get 2 extra bays as he just bought a series 3 swb last weekend.i will have to have alook one day to plan some progress and chase the guy with the engine.but money and time is not on my side with it atm so we will see.who knows maybe it will be too hot this summer to be in the shed anyway
