Hi there Tony, I read in an earlier post that giving your project a name for school was a good idea. When I started mine in 1984 , George and Mildred the English comedy series was all the rage. I named mine " Mildred ", after the actress in the series, she had very long teeth, hence the landie in my opinion was a bit long in the tooth, so the name stuck. My spare parts landie 80 inch, is called George and so on. Maybe you could choose a name after a cow or a horse. Dare I suggest after our esteemed prime minister " KEVIN " and the other one " RUDDY "did you finally pick a name ?
Peter
hey well at the moment i just call them the twins as i have 2 of them but since i am only doing one of them for a project i have not.
so since pulling the diff apart i have made a table up to keep things a bit neater and pulled the engine out of the chassis aswell as take the front and rear diffs out.had a bit of a look at the chassis and did a bit of scrathching cleaning grinding and cutting.
