Thumbs up New addition to the Family!

    G'day,

As my 55 86" nears completion i just couldnt help myself to buy another one.
I got a 1950 80" model headlights behind grille. Its history, the Landy spent most of its life on a Farm in Beeac, Vic. Near Colac.
it was sold of to a fella in Deans Marsh 5 years ago
but never got around to restoring it. Now its in my hands i am the 3rd owner this will be my next project. Also have complete doors tops and bottoms + hood canopy bows.
Spare rear diff and glass piece for the broken headlamp. The chassis is in very good condition at least i dont have to make any repairs like i had to do on my 86" which took allot of time.
    the Vehicles details.
    Body & Chassi No. R06102728
    Eng No. 06102967
    Gbox No. 06102971

Enjoy the Pics. i love the Fordson Major, it ran on Kerosine!
you don't see many these days running on Kero.

    Chris.

Bonus!....... a set of Split Rims .............Cool!
gees you wouldnt wanna undo the bolts on a fully inflated tyre,
it would take yer head of mate!

    Looks like a nice project.

Does it have the blocks for the split rims on the bonnet wheel carrier?

    Diana

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Nice !

You have found a gem Chris. Should be a straightforward rebuild.

There are quite a few early Land Rovers down in South-West Victoria. There must have been a agency down there somewhere .
