Spotted S1 SWB in Gippsland Vic....possibly for sale.

Hi guys, Just thought I might alert anyone in the Gippsland (Victoria) region to a nice looking little shorty I saw laid up over the weekend.

Looked like an 86" although I'm not positive. It's a hard top and appeared to be in pretty good knick. Looks like it's been sitting for a while.

Hope someone can rescue the old girl.
    Cheers

Also the hardtop is in good nik as it doesnt have any reinforcing plates rivited above the door top where it tapers down. they usually crack from there. my hardtop had been fixed in that place a few times.

    Hi,

Anyone knows more about this one?

If not, can you give me a street name or describe how to get there? I would like to have a look and talk to the owner.

    Take care,

    Kris

    nothing special

Sorry if my scribbling comes across as being cynical in nature. But you'll see Rovers like that just about anywhere . The faded paintwork is deceiving , in that it appears to be nice and striaight .. walk up to it and you'll see myriad dents and bumps all over it. A good tip for restorers is : to hide a less than perfect body, use dead flat paint - AKA lusterless finish ..it gives that used look and it hides all those little imperfections .
    Mike the cynical one
